Centrifugal exhausters as well as propeller roof top exhausters are available in both upblast and downblast designs. Most units are supplied in either belt drive or direct drive motor configurations. Industrial environments including warehouse ventilation, waste water treatment plants with corrosive or hazardous areas can be supported with spark resistant fan designs. Heated make up air in buildings is required in certain localities when providing supply air for exhaust fans, and Floaire® can provide gas direct fired heated make up air or gas indirect fired supply air units. If you prefer using electric power, FloAire also has electric heated make up air units. Dust or fume exhausting may be needed in some facilities. In other cases, capturing fumes at the source is preferred. Source capture systems are common for welding fume extraction. This is common in machine shops to avoid having to exhaust air to the outside of the building by using weld fume hoods. Some locations may require fume exhaust ventilation. This would be the case in automotive repair shops for trucks and cars. This can be accomplished safely and easily by using overhead fume extraction arms with hose reels.
